2011 Golden Globes: Winning Looks & Standout Sparklers

The red carpet to the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards featured incredible talent and standout sparklers. The most popular trends of the night were long sleeved and shoulder bearing gowns in pink, fire engine red, and emerald green with flower or bow embellishments. Winning looks were accessorized with statement earrings, delicate bib necklaces and stacked bangles.

STATEMENT EARRINGS

Taking a departure from the vintage-inspired Mad Men fashions, Best Actress nominee Elisabeth Moss looked modern in a custom green strapless Donna Karan design. Keeping accessories to a minimum, she wore Lorraine Schwartz danglers that said it all. Best Supporting Actress nominee Sofia Vergara stunned in a figure - flattering Vera Wang gown & David Webb jewels. Jane Krakowski arrived at the Golden Globes in a one-shoulder Badgley Mischka gown that was perfectly accessorized with her growing baby bump and chandelier earrings

BIB NECKLACES

Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland wowed in a vintage Max Azria Atelier and a 50 karat diamond and pearl collar necklace by Mikimoto worth $600,000. Best actress nominee Natalie Portman was glowing in a satiny, pink confection by Victor & Rolf and tiered diamond Tiffany necklace.  Glee's Dianna Agron shimmered in a blush hued J. Mendel dress and Cathy Waterman necklace "It's not going anywhere-- I'll feel it if it falls off!" the actress said of her diamond-encrusted bib necklace.

STACKED BANGLES

Heidi Klum brought her multicoloured self to the red carpet wearing a '70s-inspired Marc Jacobs halter dress and arm fulls of stacked bangles. Frankie and Alice star Halle Berry took a risk on the red carpet with a Nina Ricci bustier dress and gorgeous sparkles on both wrists. Hailee Steinfeld was a far cry from her gun-totin' True Grit character in a Prabal Gurung gown and Tiffany & Co jewelry.
