Eye Catching @ World Cup

South African Jeweler, Yair Shimansky, recently unveiled a 3,500 carat soccer ball he created for the World Cup. Valued at $2.5 million & weighing 4.8 pounds, the life-size soccer ball contains 6,620 white and 2,640 black diamonds.
What does one do with a big ball of bling? Rumor has it that Shimansky hopes to sell it as a World Cup 2010 commemorative display piece and is in talks with a European soccer club.

Previous endeavors by Shimansky include The World's Most Expensive Diamond [Temporary] Tattoo.

Size is important for this jeweler.
