Traveling With Jewelry

One of the best and worst parts of traveling is that you can’t take everything with you. It’s hard to know exactly what you’ll want to wear, what the weather will dictate and the accessories that will be the most adaptable. Whether you’re a jet-setter or weekend road-tripper, here are some helpful tips for packing your jewelry and accessories.

Pack light. Take only the jewelry you’ll likely wear at your destination. The 5-carat diamond ring you save for special occasions? Probably not. The pearls that go with everything? Definitely.

Utilize a good travel jewelry organizer. Knowing that your jewelry organized & secure will give you peace of mind while on your journey (and reduce the stress of untangling chains when you arrive at your destination).

Carry it on. Never put jewelry in checked baggage. Instead, wear it or stow it in your carry on bag.

Use the safe. Always store jewelry in the in-room safe when you’re not wearing it.
