Nick noticed Odessa as he embarked on his long evening commute home one February evening in Chicago. 

Many dates followed and, four years later, he started making plans to propose on an upcoming vacation to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.

Unbeknownst to Odessa, Nick contacted me to design & create an engagement ring for his intended proposal on the island. 

With less than a week before their departure, I got to work on a three-stone diamond engagement ring for Odessa. 

The couple wrote the following on their wedding website: "The engagement ring is beautiful! We want to thank Nick’s cousin, Julia Failey for creating an amazing ring. We get compliments on the ring all the time. And we are especially proud that a family member was able to design and create a ring that we cherish so much." 

Nick and Odessa were married in June. I was honored to create a diamond contour band & a beveled-edge band for the couple to exchange on their wedding day.

Custom Aquamarine Engagement Ring

Elizabeth saw a custom ring posted on our Facebook page and hinted to her boyfriend that she wanted something similar ~ a unique solitare with her birthstone, Aquamarine.  

Matt emailed me her wishes.  He also requested that the band have an natural & organic feel.  I sketched four designs based on these recommendations, and he chose #2.

Matt was uncertain of whether to have the ring cast in yellow or white gold,  so I rendered the CAD model in both to help facilitate his decision.

Elizabeth emailed me: "I just wanted to thank you for designing my ring. I absolutely love it! Matt did an amazing job with the proposal, and the ring was just the icing on the cake! It is perfect. It fits my personality superbly, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much for all your work on it!"
